Frequently asked

Licensing questions, answered plainly.

If something here still isn't clear, our team answers licensing questions directly, which is the part most marketplaces leave you to figure out alone.

Licensing basics

The source files, a durable license reference in your account, and the right to use the asset in any Roblox experience you own or work on. There is one license and it is the same for every asset and every customer — nothing is held back behind an upgrade.

No. One license, one price per asset. You are not choosing between a limited version and a full one at checkout, and you will never need to come back and pay again to unlock something you assumed you already had.

Yes. There is no revenue cap, no revenue share, and no separate commercial add-on. Whatever your experience earns is yours.

Yes. Adapt scripts, retexture meshes, rework the UI, strip out the parts you do not need. The files are yours to work with inside your own projects.

Yes, on projects you own. There is no seat count to track and no per-developer fee. What the license does not cover is sharing the source files outside your team.

Resell or redistribute the asset itself, list it on a marketplace or asset store, share the source files outside your own team, or claim you authored it. The asset is for building with, not for selling on.

Payment & Roblox linking

Purchases use Robux through the Roblox game pass shown for each asset. After Roblox confirms ownership, Destiny Tech issues the license and unlocks the download.

We need to know which Roblox account is paying so we can confirm game pass ownership and attach the license to the right Destiny Tech account. Linking uses Roblox OAuth; we never see or store your Roblox password.

Pick Robux at checkout and we send you to the Roblox purchase page for that item. Once you complete it there, come back and confirm — we verify the purchase against your linked account and your license unlocks. Robux pricing already accounts for the Roblox marketplace fee, so the number you see is the number you pay.

Through Google or Discord. There are no Destiny Tech passwords to create, forget, or have leaked, and Discord sign-in also means the servers you administer are recognised straight away.

Purchasing & access

Every verified order unlocks the asset in your Destiny Tech dashboard. You get the source files, a license reference, and ongoing access while the license remains active.

After server-side ownership verification succeeds, your dashboard unlocks the download and license record immediately. If verification cannot confirm ownership, no entitlement is granted and the page explains what to do next.

Yes. Updates and fixes are included for the life of your license, at no extra cost. If an asset ships a new version, you re-download it from the same place.

Refunds & support

Because licenses unlock downloadable files immediately, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds after download. If a package is broken, incomplete, or materially misrepresented, contact support within 14 days so we can investigate and repair it. Robux transactions and any available remedy remain subject to Roblox's rules.

Email support with a two-business-day response target, on every purchase. That covers getting the asset running in your place, not just confirming you own it.

Tell us. Roblox ships breaking changes, and keeping catalog assets working against the current engine is part of what the license covers. Fixes go out as version updates you re-download at no cost.
