Terms of service

1. Who these terms bind

These terms apply to everyone who creates a Destiny Tech account, purchases a license, or uses an asset acquired through the platform. By completing a purchase you accept them on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the studio or company you represent.

If you are purchasing on behalf of a registered business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. What a license grants

A license grants a non-exclusive, revocable right to use the specified asset in Roblox experiences you own or work on, including experiences you monetise. There is one license and it is the same for every purchase. It does not transfer copyright, trademark, or any other ownership interest in the asset.

The full terms are set out on the license page, and each product listing repeats the restrictions specific to that asset before you buy.

3. What you may not do

You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense a licensed asset, share source files outside your own team, list an asset on a marketplace or asset store, or present yourself as its original author. You may not remove embedded licensing notices.

You may not use licensed assets in any manner that breaches the Roblox Terms of Service, infringes third-party rights, or supports unlawful activity.

4. Payment and access

Licenses are charged at the Robux price displayed on the asset. Access to source files unlocks only after server-side verification confirms ownership of the configured Roblox game pass.

Paying in Robux requires a linked Roblox account, because the purchase is completed on Roblox and we confirm it against that account before issuing the license. Roblox transactions remain subject to Roblox's applicable payment and refund rules.

Prices may change for future purchases. A change never affects a license you have already bought.

5. Refunds

Because licenses unlock downloadable files immediately, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds after download. Report a broken, incomplete, or materially misrepresented package within fourteen days so we can investigate and repair it. Robux transactions and any available remedy remain subject to Roblox's rules.

6. Updates and availability

Minor updates and fixes to a licensed asset are included for the life of your license. We may remove an asset from the catalog at any time; removal does not revoke licenses already issued, and your download access is preserved.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate a license for demonstrable breach of these terms. Where a breach can be remedied we will give written notice and a reasonable period to cure it before taking action.

You may close your account at any time. Licenses already issued remain valid for assets you have downloaded, subject to continued compliance.

8. Liability

Assets are provided on an as-is basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from any license is limited to the amount you paid for that license. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Relationship to Roblox Corporation

Destiny Tech is an independent marketplace. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. All use of licensed assets on the Roblox platform remains subject to the Roblox Terms of Service.
